Neil Holland, Instructor
Originally from Boston, Neil is professionally certified as a Personal Trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as well as the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as both a Personal Trainer and Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant. He is also certified by the American Heart Association in Adult and Infant CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator). Neil has always had a love of fitness, having joined his first gym at the age of 14, as well as being active in various sports including Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do Concepts and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. "With SlowBurn, ™ I achieve the same results and MORE in less time." He feels privileged to work in an environment like SlowBurn where he can help people achieve their ultimate physical fitness potential efficiently and safely.
Virg has a BA from Binghamton University and is certified as a personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He holds multiple specialization certifications including pre & post-natal. He is a jiu jitsu practitioner and kettle bell instructor.
Hannah got her first taste of SlowBurn training during the Fall of 2015 as a client, and immediately wanted more. She is an avid believer in the SlowBurn methodology, having learned that her strength training goals, and more, can be achieved in significantly less time compared to traditional fitness programs. Hannah has a BA from Smith College, and a Master in Public Health focused on Health Policy and Law from Boston University. As a certified personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Hannah is passionate about helping people become the strongest and healthiest versions of themselves. She lives a life dedicated to fitness and health, and loves bringing her wisdom and experience to clients. Hannah enjoys working with all ages and has a particular interest in helping seniors reach their goals.
Christoph is certified by the American Council on Exercise. He has an extensive background in professional tennis and soccer coaching and his specialty is providing fitness instruction for those with significant demands on their time and/or those who hate to work out, but who also want to protect their health, build muscle tone and want to improve their overall energy and endurance.
Hannah Neighbour, Manager
After graduating in '01 with a BA in Theatre Arts, Hannah ventured to NYC. She discovered her passion, which is pursuing healing and energy work and making a career in the health and wellness field.
Anandi Gangaram, Client Services
Anandi is certified by the Athletics and Fitness Association of America, formerly known as the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Being passionate about the creative arts through fitness is an understatement for her. Anandi has been a dancer since the age of five and as a teenager, began encouraging others publicly with health talks and fitness demonstrations to find their fitness art. Never considering before to take her passion as a profession, she holds a M.A. in Media Arts from Long Island University. Anandi looks forward to continue to educate and motivate herself and others on what it means to lead a life in good health and the many ways to enjoy it.
Alisha Beverly, Client Services
Alisha is a transplanted New Yorker, originally from Northern Florida, who brings 20+ years of administrative healthcare experience to our team. She is an avid book reader, a Manhattan explorer and is on a perpetual quest to see herself and the world become leaner and healthier!
Yvette Figueroa, Client Services
Yvette Figueroa is a NASM certified personal trainer with nearly a decade of experience. Her main focus is strength and conditioning. She is a lover of all things fitness, and enjoys trail runs and obstacle course racing. She knows from her experience that proper exercise improves not only physical health but mental health as well.

Tommy Day, Instructor
As a lifelong athlete (NCAA football, track and field, gymnastics) and as a trainer since 1991 (SFPA certified), I have had the opportunity to experience many different training techniques. For best results, my standard workout usually hovered around two to three hours (weights, cardio, stretch, shower), four times a week. If I did any less I felt I would be short-changing myself. Boy, was I wrong. I get the same results doing SlowBurn™ as I did before, and I don't have to organize my life around my workout! I love what SlowBurn™ does for my body and I love seeing what it does for our clients.
Rosanne found her way to SlowBurn Montclair in 2014 while getting bagels next door and never left. An avid yoga enthusiast, Rosanne is a trained yoga instructor (200 RYT) and has taught at South Mountain Yoga and Yoga Mechanics and has been a guest instructor at Lululemon at Garden State Plaza.
Rosanne is a passionate and dedicated instructor in the SlowBurn method and her objective is getting her clients strong her while keeping them safe. Rosanne enjoys working with all her clients, but especially enjoys working with her grade, middle and high school kids and helping them reach their goals as she has worked in children’s publishing for many years before making the switch to the health and fitness industry.
Originally a native New Yorker, Rosanne lives in Montclair, in a book and art-packed apartment with her high school-aged daughter and three cats who love to watch TV.
Trina is a professional personal trainer, certified through the National Academy of Sport Medicine (NASM). Her most consistent personal fitness journey began several years after the birth of her youngest son, which resulted in significant weight gain. Her dedication to a fit mind and body inspired those around her to try to improve their own health as well. Witnessing the positive impact she was having on others was a catalyst for pursuing a secondary career as a fitness professional. She enjoys focusing on client weight loss, post-natal fitness, and the geriatric population. She is also CPR/AED/Child & Adult First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. A martial art practitioner, she is currently working on her 2nd degree blackbelt. Additionally, she enjoys group exercise and is certified in Beachbody Insanity and Cize. A lifelong learner, she is currently working on additional certification as a certified performance specialist. When not in gym inspiring others or working out herself, she is in the classroom, as an English professor at a state university.
Leigh Hansen, Massage Therapist
Founder of Remedy Massage, Leigh has been helping her clients reduce stress and release muscular tension for the last 15 years. She received a BA in Dance from NYU in 1991 and performed and taught for several years. In 1997, she became a certified Gyrotonics instructor and began training clients while pursuing graduate studies in both dance and pre-med. Leigh received her Massage Therapy degree from the Swedish Institute in 2002 and opened her private practice that same year. An avid fan of the SlowBurn system, Leigh is grateful to the trainers at SlowBurn for helping her stay strong!
Clint Bigham is a certified personal trainer through the Titleist Performance Institute, holds a Pilates and dance conditioning certification through University Nevada Las Vegas, Yoga Method Alliance certification, BodyCode certifications, and continues his education at the Feldenkrais Guild of North America.
